Vimy Forge - Canadian National Defence Accelerator
Managing Director at Vimy Forge

About
Vimy Forge is a Canadian defence and national security innovation accelerator, focused on advancing sovereign, digital-first capabilities for contemporary and emerging operational environments. We convene a public–private coalition spanning the Canadian Department of National Defence, economic development agencies, defence primes, SMEs, academic institutions, and capital partners.
Our not-for-profit work emphasizes the development of innovative defence and dual use capabilities. Of particular interest is the integration of software-enabled capabilities—AI, cyber resilience, data systems, and decision-support tools—that strengthen human decision advantage in complex, ambiguous operating contexts as well as in the emerging nature of 21st Century high-intensity conflict.
At DAIMEX, we are seeking collaborative engagements with national and regional partners to co-develop, pilot, and scale technologies that address shared defence and security priorities. We welcome discussions with organizations looking to align innovation efforts with operational needs, accelerate dual-use technologies, and contribute to a more integrated Canadian and allied capability ecosystem.
Our approach is practical, partnership-driven, and anchored in delivering deployable outcomes.
